The Vision:

Although this one violates my color movement, I am dedicating this piece to my fellow New Yorkers who are consumed by the color black as soon as Labor Day ends. I am a Brooklyn girl and I know that you love color just as much as I do but retailers make their stores devoid of color as soon as it gets cold and corporate America loves their black...so this one is for you. Although my home is in Atlanta, my secular job was still in New York for 5 years after I relocated (13 years total). Commuting back and forth from state-to-state every week is grueling and requires a wardrobe that is durable, versatile, comfortable and capable of tackling varying climates in one 24-hour period. I present to you the Triple Threat DTS (Dress, Tunic, Sweatshirt). As the name indicates, this garment can be worn as a sweatshirt in the morning when you are commuting to work with your comfy sneakers on. (In my case the commute included car service, a flight, a bus, a train and some walking to the office with suitcase in toe.) A tunic that can be worn in the office with your black slacks after you change out of your sneakers and remove the drawstring. Then, finally, the best part is when you are freed from the shackles of the 9-5, you take your pants off in the restroom and throw on the sexy boots that you keep in the office for a night out on the town as you transition into the free spirit that you were always meant to be. The featured garment runs a little bit large on the model but I did not want to deny you of the potential in this piece. I will be offering more colors in this item too.
