The Vision:

When I design, I usually have a clear vision of what I am going to create. The vehicles that drive my inspiration can come from a multitude of sources like a button, a play on words or a need that needs to be filled. The “Signature” tee from the Self-Made collection reflects a clear concise thought process that created a clean design all the way down to the custom patches.

The “In My Feelings” tee is the opposite of that! I had a multitude of ideas on what I was going to create for this tee. Switching gears was necessary because custom patches were too expensive. Valentine’s Day was coming up, Tariffs were looming, and I could not stop wondering how much my sweet peppers from Canada and my mom’s avocados from Mexico would cost…you see what is happening with eggs because of bird flu right?

Enter the “In My Feelings” T-shirt. It is imperfectly perfect just like life! The design is Self-Made. The embroidery of the flower on the front & back of the tee is reinforced with fusible interfacing on the interior and is self-sewn. I apologize to my embroidery enthusiasts in advance but this was drawn & sewn 100% by me, no hoops & frames, no digitizing software & no embroidery machine required. So no, it is not perfect but I am not perfect and there is beauty in every variation. My mom always says, “Every fault is a fashion” and this tee is going to turn heads because the design is something that has not been seen before. All of the embroidery shines bright in a yellow that contrasts against the black tee. The rolled sleeves on this one are tacked in place. The slight teardrop neckline and shirttail hem both have a yellow border and the tee itself is still beefy with body in 7.5oz heavyweight 100% cotton.
